This incredible framed collage that features an authentic autograph of "Black Mamba" on the black matting, which in addition features THE actual confetti from the final game of Kobe's career from the Lakers vs. Utah Jazz game on April 13, 2016. If you can remember, Kobe scored 60 points that night against the Jazz, becoming the oldest player in NBA history to score 60 points in a game. Check out the circular purple confetti that are designed like basketballs that have "24" in the middle. These confetti pieces, as well as the yellow rectangular ones, dropped at the Staples Center after the Jazz game in celebration of his retirement from Basketball. If you look at the photos on this listing you will see we found some news articles we took a screenshot of showing the confetti going up in the Staples center and also the aftermath of the confetti on the Lakers court!
The original piece that came from Upper Deck was just a boring black mat gallery style piece limited out of 108 made and is the #47 in the total edition size. We felt the piece needed a little "more to it" as the photo was from the earlier part of his career with the Lakers, so we figured we would add a little history to the piece by showcasing his very last game in the NBA. We enhanced the piece by adding the confetti pieces, a purple suede top mat and a gold laser engraved nameplate with all the final major stats of his career. Furthermore, this is the only one of these exact pieces that have made it into our company, and it is a true 1/1 from our company and the piece will not be duplicated, you literally own a 1/1 Kobe item!
