This piece is framed in a black wooden frame measuring 32 1/2" x 20 1/2" in size with glass and navy & white premium acid-free suede matting. This collage includes a white nameplate depicting information about him and his career accolades, Yankees logos, a custom laser cut lettering header, as well as the information about the glove & dirt capsule! Museum-quality framing to say the least!!
The batting glove has been certified authentic by DJ's personal memorabilia authentication company, Steiner Sports. This means this glove is directly from him and doesn't get more authentic then this. The dirt capsule has been certified authentic by major league baseball and can be searched in their online database on their website, as the dirt from his last game in MLB usingĀ COA #HZ751378. The Jeter custom logo is the side exposed in the frame but on the back of the capsule is the barcode pictured in the listing to verify it's without having to open up the frame. This picture is included with the piece. In addition, this piece comes with photos of the glove of what it looks like on the front and back side so you can see what it looks like outside of the frame! To find anything game used from Jeter now that he is retired has become very difficult and as more time passes it will be almost impossible to find anything game used as collectors purchase items like this and hold onto them very long term!
