Produced in a one-time special release by Riddell (circa 2005–2007), these helmets feature a true metal outer shell — not painted, not a metallic finish, but actual metal construction. Due to extreme manufacturing difficulty and strict quality control standards, Riddell discontinued the line after this single production run. No reissues. No second production. As a result, surviving examples are exceptionally scarce nearly 20 years later and almost never surface publicly.

In addition, it features a Brett Favre hologram on the helmet with a matching Brett Favre Certificate of Authenticity card. It is well documented that this pewter helmet series was produced exclusively by Riddell for Mounted Memories, and the only way these helmets were originally offered signed was directly through Mounted Memories.
