This VHS tape is copyrighted (as seen in the photos) from the year 1990, the year the movie came out into movie theaters and released onto VHS for the very 1st time. It is an original authentic videotape, unused & never opened or resealed, and still has the original "MCA" company plastic wrapping from 1990 around the entire thing. There is nothing like owning a true piece of cinematic history by owning a VHS tape from the very 1st run of this videotape release and not a reproduction or copy of VHS tapes that were made over and over during the years, own the 1st! Overall the condition of this tape and packaging is in great shape as you can tell from every angle of the tape, but make your own assumption of its condition from the photos as it's being sold in vintage condition.
The tape was signed in blue paint pen on top of the sealed plastic packaging by Christopher Lloyd at our private signing with him at our private signing with Christopher in Knoxville, TN on August 6, 2022. Nothing like owning the most famous movie franchise of the 1980s, but nothing screams more nostalgia than a VHS tape of Back to the Future!! Tape will come in a top loader to protect the tape itself as well as the signature.
This item has been certified authentic by one of the most reputable and recognized authenticators in the business today, James Spence Authentication (JSA). This item includes the JSA Witness Letter of Authenticity guaranteeing this is the real thing and was witnessed being signed by a JSA authenticator who was present at the actual signing when Mr. Lloyd signed this tape!
