This signatures on this baseball in addition to Cobb, DiMaggio and Cy Young include:

  • Bill Terry - In 1999, he ranked number 59 on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Baseball Players. Nicknamed "Memphis Bill", he is most remembered for being the last National League player to hit .400, a feat he accomplished by batting .401 in 1930.
  • Cal Hubbard - was an American professional football player and Major League Baseball (MLB) umpire. Hubbard played in the National Football League (NFL) between 1927 and 1936 for the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Pirates, playing the bulk of his career with the Packers. Hubbard is credited as being one of the inventors of the football position of linebacker. He was also an umpire in the American League (AL) from 1936 to 1951, then worked as an umpire supervisor until 1969. George Halas affectionately called Hubbard the "Big Umpire." To date, Hubbard is the only person to be enshrined in both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Baseball Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
  • Ray Schalk - was a catcher in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox for the majority of his career who is known for his fine handling of pitchers and outstanding defensive ability. Schalk was considered the greatest defensive catcher of his era where he revolutionized the way the catching position was played by using his speed and agility to expand the previously accepted defensive capabilities for his position. Schalk was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955 where this baseball was signed.
  • Ted Lyons - played in 21 MLB seasons, all with the Chicago White Sox where he won 20 or more games three times (in 1925, 1927, and 1930). • Ford Frick - was the National League's president from 1934 to 1951 and the third Commissioner of Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1951 to 1965. He had a major role in the establishment of the Baseball Hall of Fame as a museum that honors the best players in baseball history.

He had a batting average over .300 in six seasons, had three seasons with more than 100 runs batted in, and two seasons with over 100 runs scored. Baker's legacy has grown over the years, and he is regarded by many as one of the best power hitters of the deadball era.  Baker was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955, where this baseball was signed at the induction ceremony.
  • Gabby Hartnett - Prior to Johnny Bench, Hartnett was considered the greatest catcher in the history of the National League. A six-time All-Star, he appeared in four World Series during his playing career. At the time of his retirement, Hartnett held the career records for catchers in home runs, runs batted in, hits, doubles and most games played as a catcher. Hartnett was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955 when this baseball was signed.
  • Will Harridge - president of the American League in 1931, held that post until his retirement in 1958, and then was named president emeritus.

He managed the Cardinals (1933–1938), Pittsburgh Pirates (1940–1946) and Chicago Cubs (1949–1951). He is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum. He is tied with Yogi Berra for most World Series doubles at 10 and holds the record for the most World Series hits at 58 for a player who never played for the New York Yankees, exceeded only by Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle.
  • Joe McCarthy - was a manager in Major League Baseball, most renowned for his leadership of the "Bronx Bombers" teams of the New York Yankees from 1931 to 1946. The first manager to win pennants with both National and American League teams (1929 Chicago Cubs / 1932 NY Yankees), he won nine league titles overall and seven World Series championships – a record tied only by Casey Stengel.
