RENO, Nev. (Jan. 17, 2020) – Ryan Reaves, right-winger for the Vegas Golden Knights, will lead a free a one hour youth hockey clinic at Rink at THE ROW on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12 p.m. The clinic is free for kids 13 and younger and limited space is available. Participants can bring their own skates or pay to rent them from Rink at THE ROW.
During the clinic, Reaves will give instruction and education to the kids on the sport of hockey and tell his story from when he was young and what it takes to be a professional hockey player.
After the clinic, Reaves will do an autograph signing limited to the first 80 people at Rum Bullions Island Bar located at Silver Legacy from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Photos with Reaves can be taken on personal cameras.
Reaves has been described in the professional hockey league as an enforcer. He played football and hockey growing up before deciding to pursue hockey as a career. He was selected by St. Louis in the fifth round of the 2005 draft and turned pro in the 2007-08 season. Reaves made his debut in the professional hockey league with St. Louis in 2010 and scored his first goal against Anaheim on Jan. 12, 2011. He was traded to Las Vegas in February of 2018 for their inaugural historic season run to the hockey championship.
